Prof. Hennig Krause, Guest Professor of USTC visited School of Mathematical Sciences (SMS) during June 28 to July 3, 2013. During the visit, Prof. Krause gave three academic lectures and had further communication with members of our algebra team. Prof. Jiayu Li, executive dean of SMS awarded the letter of appointment to Prof. Krause.

Prof. Henning Krause is a professor of mathematics at Bielefeld University since 2010 and member of the Bielefeld Representation Theory Group (BIREP). Previous appointments were at Paderborn (2003 - 2010) and Leeds (2002 - 2003). He is involved in two major research projects DFG Schwerpunktprogramm 1388 Darstellungstheorie DFG Sonderforschungsbereich 701 Spektrale Strukturen und Topologische Methoden in der Mathematik
