摘要: We say that a diffeomorphism f is super-exponentially divergent if for every b>1 the limit of #Per_n(f)/b^n diverges to infinity, where Per_n(f) is the set of all periodic points of f with period n. This property is stronger than the usual super-exponential growth of the number of periodic points. In this talk, I will show that there exists a non-empty open set O of C^1-diffeomorphisms such that elements in a dense subset of O exhibit the super-exponentially divergent property. This is a joint work with Katsutoshi Shinohara.
